Ingredients:
300 g (10 oz) elbow macaroni
400 g (14 oz) ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup marinara or pasta sauce
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt to taste
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cheddar cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Beef Sauce
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Cook the Beef
Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Break it up with a spoon.
Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
Add the Sauce
Stir in tomato sauce and marinara sauce. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine
Add the cooked macaroni to the beef sauce and mix well.
Add Cheese & Bake (or Melt)
Transfer to a baking dish. Top generously with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and stretchy.
(Alternatively, cover and let the cheese melt on the stovetop.)
Serve Hot
Serve immediately while the cheese is gooey and delicious.
