Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground sausage (mild, spicy, or breakfast sausage)
- 1/2 cup (120 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and let it cool slightly.
2. Prepare the filling:
In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar until well combined.
3. Prepare the puff pastry:

Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheets. Cut each sheet into 6–8 squares.
4. Assemble:
Place a spoonful of sausage mixture in the center of each square.
Fold into triangles or roll into croissant shapes. Seal edges by pressing or using a fork.
5. Egg wash:
Place pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
6. Bake:
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
7. Garnish & serve:
Optional: sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives.
Serve warm as an appetizer, snack, or party food.
